Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and developed a passion of sprinting while at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first attempt she made her skills, she placed second in 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for an official career at Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place at Athens Greece. She broke a Junior World Record by taking 200m in 22.18 second. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended that title, beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in the Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her races.
