born on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone (nee
Yeager), an experienced homemaker and Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone
who was a founding partner of a company that contracts and CEO. She has Swedish
as well as British Isles heritage. Stone started acting as a child in Phoenix's
Valley Youth Theatre. There she gave her first stage performance in "The
Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame. As a teenager Stone was an active
participant of many productions before she made the decision to pursue acting
as a profession. As per the official version of the story she presented a
PowerPoint slide show sponsored by the Madonna's Hollywood and was dubbed
"Project Hollywood" in an attempt to convince her parents to let her
to drop out of school and relocate to Los Angeles. She and her mother made the
pitch and moved to LA. Her education was done at home, and she spent her time
auditioning. Her TV debut was when she was chosen to play Laurie Partridge on
the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The show
resulted in a number of small TV parts over the years. Following a string
successes acting roles, her character Olive in Easy A (2010) was her movie
debut. In Phoenix, Arizona, she attended Xavier College Preparatory. Although
she is known for her red hair, her true hair color is blonde. Judd Apatow
suggested that she change her hair color in order to suit Superbad (2007). She
liked it so much that she chose to keep it. She convinced her parents to let
her move to Hollywood when she was age 15 by presenting the PowerPoint
presentation that was appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She began acting
at 11 years old in Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she appeared on 16
stages. She also performed in the comedy improv troupe of the theatre. Caylee
